Abstract
Describes precautions to be taken when concrete has to be placed in conditions of heat and drying winds, rendering it likely to lose moisture prematurely. Explains reasons for weather sensitivity in concrete, and contains a graphical method of determining moisture evaporation rate as a function of relative humidity, concrete temperature and wind speed.
