Abstract
Provides information on the sound insulation performance of common types of party walls and floors. Results are presented for solid and cavity walls built of brick, of dense aggregate blockwork, of lightweight aggregate blockwork or of aerated concrete blockwork and drylined with a single layer of plasterboard fixed on dabs or battens, with no plaster on the surface of the masonry.
