Abstract
Proposes a method of test to assess the performance of timber frame wall panels in racking and which is able to take account of numerous variables relating to loads, materials, fixings and panel configuration. Panel stiffness and panel strength are measured separately and a method is proposed for analysing the test results to derive design data.
