Abstract
Results from a study carried out into the performance and durability of aggregates in concrete, which showed that plain concrete containing crushed Jurassic limestone aggregate can be strong and frost resistant but gains little from air entrainment. Extra cover for embedded metal may be needed to prevent an increase in the risk of corrosion.
