Abstract
Advises on the survey and installation of uPVC windows. Advice is given on the design of replacement load-bearing windows. The principal reason for problems with the replacement of load-bearing windows are: - Failure to recognise load-bearing situations. - Failing to cope adequately with these loads during and after installation.
