Abstract
Describes the specification, construction and testing of cement-sand and concrete levelling screeds laid on in-situ, ground-supported and suspended bases, and suspended precast units. It also provides limited information on lightweight, polymer-modified and flowing levelling screeds. A flow chart is presented which provides a simple method of determining the appropriate type of screed for most situations.
