Abstract
Discusses the options available to the construction industry for recycling waste plastics materials. Summarises standard technology, and gives examples of recycling initiatives already in place. Also addresses the incorporation of recyclate in construction products giving examples, while methods of ensuring the durability of products made from recycled plastics are examined.
