Abstract
Describes procedures for determining the thermal performance of some types of insulated double-skin metal roof and wall systems commonly used in the UK. The procedures take account of the thermal bridging caused by the various metal connecting paths between inner liner and outer sheet and are more realistic than other simplified methods and provide a more accurate assessment of the thermal performance of such systems.
