Abstract

GC/Works/3 (1998) is for use when lump sum tenders are to be invited on the basis of Specification and Drawings, with the optional use of Bills of Quantities or a Schedule of Rates. The contract should be suitable for use in relation to mechanical and electrical works of any value.

Document History

The Office of Government Commerce are now recommending NEC3 for use by government construction clients. They will not be updating or supporting GC works contracts.
