Abstract
GC/Works/4 (1998) is for use when lump sum tenders are to be invited on the basis of Specification and/or Drawings only. The contract should be suitable for use in relation to building, civil engineering and mechanical and electrical works with a value of up to £75,000.
Document History
The Office of Government Commerce are now recommending NEC3 for use by government construction clients. They will not be updating or supporting GC works contracts.
