Abstract
Applies to stationary, portable, single or poly-phase transformers with unlimited rated output not exceeding 1,000V a.c. or 500Hz.

Superseded by BS EN 61558-2-2:2007. Also known as IEC 61558-2-2:1997. BS EN 61558 series will ultimately supersede BS 3535-1 (BS EN 60742:1996) and BS 3535-2. Until that time arrives these latter standards are only to be used for equipment not covered by the BS EN 61558 series.
