Abstract
Includes details for the widening of existing pavements and covers the area of design, materials and construction. Rapid construction and repair of concrete pavements is also covered. In addition it includes the latest advice covering the laying of rolled asphalt wearing courses and the effects of weather and more detailed advice on the use of porous asphalt.
