Abstract
The UHB concept is based on a single block selected from a range of 100mm thick solid aggregate blocks so as to meet the precise needs of specific design. The selection process is simple and once made at the design stage arranging the supply of blocks and the subsequent sit management of blocks are both completely straightforward.

In 1999, the Concrete Block Association replaced the Aggregate Concrete Block Association as the trade body for manufacturers of aggregate concrete building block in Great Britain. The CBA publish data sheets and technical guidance on many typical block applications.
