Abstract
Gives recommendations for the design, testing and erection of timber frame walls for dwellings, not exceeding three storeys and comprising timber frame walls not exceeding 3.5m overall height between the lowest member and the soffit of the next floor or floor above, with studs not exceeding 610mm centre to centre and one or both faces of studs being partly or wholly connected to sheathing, lining, gusset plates and other forms of bracing.
