Abstract
Describes the operation of the quality assurance scheme for paints and similar protective coatings used in the protection of motorway and other trunk road steelwork structures. It has been amended to take account of the variety of contract conditions now in use, recent Health and Safety legislation on the control of solvent emissions into the atmosphere, the introduction of two-pack paint materials and changes to the contact details of participating organisations.
