Abstract
Loughborough University, new business school and economics building, Leicestershire. A three-storey curved building with central corridors and two banks of cellular office type accommodation. The entrance lobby, main staircase and lift are situated at the junction of the T-shaped building's two blocks. Coloured render is used to aid orientation - terracotta and yellow ochre for the two blocks and bright turquoise for the central core. The roof becomes louvered at the eaves on the southern elevation. A series of deeply recessed square windows reflect the cellular layout of the interior.
