Abstract
The aim of this publication is to provide guidance to those responsible for health and safety in their place of work on the selection and positioning of signs relating to fire safety. The information will be relevant to a range of people from the owners of small businesses to safety managers in large organisations. Its areas of application include offices, shops, factories, warehouses, transport depots (including railway yards) and sites storing or using dangerous substances.
