The Herald building in Glasgow, originally designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, has been converted into the Glasgow Lighthouse, a centre for architecture, design and the city. Includes a cost summary. Gives working details of a helical steel staircase. Architect: Page & Park. Structural Engineer: Thorburn Colquhoun. M&E Engineer: Oscar Faber.
