Abstract
Proposes to educate the industry and clients about the need for whole life costing and summarises the results of a questionnaire sent to over 900 representatives from a broad cross section of industry stakeholders.

The need for this report was identified as a result of activities undertaken by the Construction Innovation and Strategy Panel (CRISP) and the Foresight Construction Panel. Whilst this publication can still be purchased some of the information in it has been superseded by more recent research and standards.
