Abstract
Provides a basic insight for chartered surveyors into issues relating to insolvency in the construction industry. It highlights the implications of insolvency during the construction process and brings out a variety of circumstances in which insolvency may occur, whilst drawing together the chartered surveyor's involvement in typical situations and summarising the actions that may be taken to protect the affected parties.
