Abstract
Ettringite is commonly formed at early ages in concrete cured under ambient conditions. It is only damaging to concrete cured under low temperatures, where it forms more slowly, or high temperatures which may delay the formation of ettringite. This Information Paper, which is mainly concerned with insitu concrete, identifies the circumstances in which delayed ettringite formation may cause problems.
