Abstract
Summarises the results of a study carried out by BRE to examine whether natural and low-energy mechanical systems for keeping buildings cool can be applied to the refurbishment of office buildings with the aim of attaining significant energy savings and reducing carbon emissions in comparison to installing air conditioning.
