Abstract
The new Scottish Seabird Centre on the coast at North Berwick, Firth of Forth, Scotland. The building is based on ecological principles and uses traditional materials such as stone and timber. The unusual, angled roof is copper-clad. Gives cost details. Working details of the roof and cupola. Architects: Simpson and Brown Architects. Structural engineers: Will Rudd Associates.
