Abstract
Considers the main locations and building features in the home where building-related accidents are likely to happen. Design features that may reduce the likelihood of building-related accidents are presented as design checklists. Some of this guidance is based upon existing Building Regulations but it goes beyond the minimum recommendations associated with these regulations, to propose homes that are even safer by design.
