Reports on the careful restoration of 'Blackwell', a house in the Lake District in England, and internationally recognised as one of the major buildings of the Arts and Crafts movement, which has been adapted for use as an arts and exhibition centre. Original architect: MH Baillie Scott. Restoration architects: Allies and Morrison. Engineers: Babtie Group with Harris and Sutherland.
