Abstract

Incorporates new recommendations and procedures to help combat the growing incidence of bacteria contamination in closed systems. For reasons not fully understood, such problems have become more common during the 1990s. This guidance includes modifications on some issues, in the light of feedback from engineers, on the original. This guide is intended for recirculating heating and cooling systems, and does not apply to hot and cold water supplies.
