Abstract
Energy conservation is the more efficient or effective use of energy. As fuel costs rise and environmental concerns grow, more-efficient energy conversion and utilization technologies become cost-effective. However, technology alone cannot produce sufficient results without a continuing management effort. Energy management begins with the commitment and support of an organisation’s management team.
