Abstract
Begins with a definition of external lime coating and goes on to give guidance on a range of matters likely to be encountered. These include investigation of existing problems, selecting the appropriate materials and use of good site practices. Further guidance is given on the preparation and use of limewash. There is a brief section on specifying external lime based coatings, and appendices include a glossary of terms and further reading.
