Abstract
The aim of this document is to interpret the application of the procedures and requirements of HTM 2022, for Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS) within the MOD Estate. These rules and procedures relate to: minimising or eliminating the risk to patients, the integrity and performance of the MGPS, the control of work on MGPS, for which the MOD is responsible, minimising or eliminating the risks from stored energy in MGPS, the appointment, roles and duties of Authorising Engineers, Authorised Persons, Competent Persons, Persons in Charge, Accompanying Safety Persons and Designated Persons, and the documentation used in their application.
