Abstract
Intended to offer building professionals, building owners, developers, planners and conservation officers sufficient information and advice to support sound repairs and sensitive conversions. Presents a working method that will allow future building projects to be more fully informed by the finer points of the existing building's form and detail. The information presented here has resulted from the personal experience of a number of individuals and has been drawn together from a variety of sources, to produce an exemplar of guidance to inform future work on rural buildings in the Lothian's.
