Abstract

Considers the golf boom of the late 1980s within the context of a longer term perspective on the development of golf. It will be of use to local authorities preparing strategies and/or development plan policies for golf, developers preparing proposals for new courses, and golf clubs considering future policy in the aftermath of the boom.
