Abstract
Explains the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Development Procedure) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1997, which introduces statutory requirements for planning authorities to consult the Scottish Sports Council about developments affecting playing fields; and also the Secretary of State about the proposed development of certain roadside facilities.
