Abstract

Describes various traffic data which the TRL has collected since 1990, for use in the development of bridge loading rules. Aims to make potential users aware of the data available, and to present some analysis of them. Covers: Traffic loading data from the M5 and M6 motorways, Traffic behaviour in free flow and jam conditions, and Dynamic wheel loads.
