Abstract

Reviews a trial comparing performance, under repeated loadings of a moving wheel, of off site recycled Heavy Duty Macadam (HDM) incorporating 50% of reclaimed material in the mix and conventionally manufactured HDM, carried out in the pavement test facility at TRL. The source of the reclaimed material in the recycled mix was previously manufactured but unused bituminous materials.
