Abstract
Stipulates the test requirements for fire testing of fixed gaseous fire extinguishing systems. LPS 1230 is appropriate for the evaluation of extinguishing system performance of Halon Alternative fixed extinguishing systems, of the non-liquefied inert and halocarbon gas types. Parts of the test protocol described herein are common to the testing requirements of ISO 14520-1 Gaseous fire extinguishing systems - Physical properties and system design - Part 1- ANNEX C, and so conformity is implicit in the satisfactory completion of LPS 1230.
