Abstract

Specifies the requirements of the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) for date dependent fire detection and alarm equipment and applies to fire detection and fire alarm equipment incorporating a calendar function. New equipment submitted for Certification or Approval by the LPCB shall be subjected to the tests specified in this standard as part of the evaluation process.
