Abstract
Unoccupied buildings can attract the attention of thieves and vandals. Owners, managers and managing agents of premises should understand the risks and act to reduce potential losses from theft, vandalism or arson. This Code will help in managing appropriate precautions, starting from when the property is vacated and continuing until the premises are either re-occupied, redeveloped or demolished.

Other LPC documents are now available from the Fire Protection Association.
