Abstract
Introduces an additional exception to the requirement to consult a statutory consultee, before the grant of planning permission. It introduces a requirement for a local planning authority to provide a summary of the reasons for any grant of planning permission without conditions and a summary of relevant policies and proposals in the development plan. Also introduce a requirement for a local planning authority to provide a summary of the reasons for any grant of listed building consent or conservation area consent without conditions.
