Abstract
Relates to shell boilers heated by combustion of fuels or by hot gases in order to produce steam and/or hot water. Concerns components between the feedwater inlet and steam outlet of the steam generator. The outcome is the boiler can operate to minimize risk to personnel, the boiler and associated plant components within the same area.
