Abstract

Too often those procuring work fail to deal adequately with contract formation, leading to uncertainties about what was agreed and disputes about whether a binding agreement was concluded. Seeks to address this problem by providing architects, employers, consultants, contractors and suppliers with a laypersons guide to what must be done to agree legally binding obligations. Logically ordered and avoiding case law, explains the background that governs the process of entering into a contract with another party.
