Abstract
Chapter 2 of this Part has been revised to reflect current pavement design issues. Guidance is given on the issues to be considered when widening existing roads. Chapter 3, dealing with rapid concrete construction, has not been revised and although the advice continues to be valid, the references may need to be checked.
