Abstract
Continental roundabouts tend to have narrower circulating carriages than typical British roundabouts, and normally have fewer entry and exit lanes on each arm. Reports on a study to investigate the effect of continental style roundabout geometry on the safe and convenient movement of cyclists at roundabouts, based upon four selected pilot schemes across the UK.
