Abstract

Presents key data and expert opinions on the toxicology and intake of nickel. It aims to derive an oral tolerable daily intake (TDI) and an inhalation Index Dose, which in turn are needed to derive Soil Guideline Values (SGVs) for nickel, that is, concentrations of nickel in soil that will pose no significant threat to health.
