Abstract
In June 2000 the Government and the Health and Safety Commission (HSC) launched Revitalising Health and Safety, a strategy intended to find new ways of reducing workplace injuries and ill health. This report examines the approach taken by the HSE to improve the health and safety performance of the construction industry and the impact of this approach.
