Abstract
The project is a pilot non Housing Revenue Account housing regeneration scheme, the aim being to purchase and fully renovate 150 properties in a defined area of the inner city through the PFI contractor. The properties must have been vacant for 3 months or more and unfit for human habitation. The properties are renovated to a defined rehab specification and let at affordable rents.
