Abstract
Provides information on the characteristic values for use in designing structures incorporating wood based panels. Includes the characteristic values of the mechanical properties for plywood when used in a bending mode. Advises on obtaining the characteristic values for tension and compression for plywood by either testing or calculation. Conservative values for shear are also included.
