Abstract
It is worthwhile considering the possibilities, during the design stage of a project, for reusing the components and recycling the materials that are likely to arise from deconstruction or demolition of a building. This publication looks at the processes and opportunities for demolition and deconstruction and the experience of designing for deconstruction in other fields such as automobile industries.
