Abstract

Applies to solid, hollow or cellular blocks, including aerated blocks designated according to their properties and gives the uses for which they are intended. Requirements are given for dimensions, materials, surface, density, strength, drying shrinkage and wetting expansion. Special blocks are covered. Provisions are included for sampling, certification and marking. Methods of test are given in appendices.
