Abstract
In the majority of cases where an architect is retained on a project, the architect both designs and administers the contract as part of the normal service provided to the client. Covers the work of architects in relation to: the economic and professional context; the legal and administrative framework; planning and environmental protection; safety, health and welfare at work; and specifications, codes and standards.
