Abstract
Sets out the layout requirements for merge and diverge at grade junctions, and for weaving sections, at various levels of traffic flow. It is essential that comprehensive attention is paid to design if safe and efficient junctions are to be achieved. The effective performance of junctions is crucial to the efficient operation of the route.
